Casanova de Sant Miquel is a small rural hostel located in the Montseny Natural Park in the Avencó Valley, surrounded by forests and mountains. This old farmhouse has been restored respecting traditional Catalan architecture: stone walls, wooden beams, fireplace and economical cuisine.
The accommodation is part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, and offers an authentic stay in the middle of nature, with a clear commitment to environmental sustainability and energy autonomy.
It is adapted for people with reduced mobility, with accessible access, shower and adapted services.
Every morning, guests can enjoy a homemade self-service breakfast, with omelettes, pastries, fruit and natural juices, to be enjoyed in the dining room or in the garden.
Casanova de Sant Miquel is an ideal starting point for hiking, forest bathing and nature observation in the Montseny Natural Park. From the house you can directly access several quiet and spectacular itineraries, such as the Avencó Valley route, guided by the house's own team.
We also organize activities open to the public, such as the folk music concert Ball a l'Era or occasional workshops such as making ratafia with wild herbs.
With the arrival of good weather, the perfect time has also arrived to learn how to make this delicious traditional drink.
