A farmhouse surrounded by history
In the heart of a secluded valley within the Montseny Natural Park lies the farmhouse Casanova de Sant Miquel. Just 400 meters from the house, hidden among holm oaks, stands the Hermitage of Sant Miquel de Canyelles, a pre-Romanesque chapel built over 1,000 years ago. This was once the site of a medieval village called Canyelles, of which only the hermitage and, possibly, the current farmhouse remain. Casanova de Sant Miquel was carefully restored between 2001 and 2005 to offer a rustic, sustainable, and welcoming accommodation.

The stone walls, wooden beams, Catalan vault under the staircase, old-style stove, and fireplace are some of the original features that bring warmth to the space. All in harmony with today’s comforts: heating, WiFi, and comfortable rooms.
